Location
- We are a global company, our headquarters is in Santa Clara, California, and our R&D Center is located in Budapest, Hungary, where you are likely to work if you are applying for a tech position. We have a very well located office in the Science Park, close to the universities, trams, buses and Bubi stations, with great lunch-sourcing options in the nearby, and a nice environment around that’s also perfect for walking meetings or a refreshing walk.

- Our goal is to provide worry-free compensation for everyone, which includes base salary and a range of extra benefits, depending on the country you are working for.

As Automotive Business Development Director, you'll be at the forefront of a transformative industry. This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on scaling our automotive and micromobility business units. Your Mission
Customer Relationship & Sales Leadership
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and micromobility players
- Lead contract negotiations and win automotive mass production programs
- Drive country-specific sales strategies in partnership with Commsignia leadership
- Represent Commsignia at key trade shows, demo events, and industry forums
Business Development – OEM Focus
- Promote V2X software solutions to OEMs across R&D, product development, and procurement
- Identify customer needs, assign local FAEs, and deliver tailored solutions
- Drive revenue via hardware EVKs, software development licenses, and professional services
Business Development – Tier-1 Focus
- Develop a strategic approach to engage Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers
- Position Commsignia as a key integration partner for V2X software and hardware
- Sell platform integration projects, software licenses, and associated services
Marketing & Strategic Input
- Collaborate with the marketing team on messaging, channel strategy, and event planning
- Provide market feedback to help shape Commsignia’s product roadmap
What We’re Looking For
- 5–6+ years of experience in business development or sales roles
- Automotive or Telecommunications industry background
- Strong technical and business English skills (additional languages are a plus)
- Degree in Business or Technology
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Independent, proactive mindset with high personal accountability
- Experience with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
- Willingness to travel (~30%)
- Experience working with international teams
