V2X means vehicle-to-everything communication, a radio technology that allows vehicles to share information with each other and their surroundings. Enabling cars to communicate like this can help prevent accidents, and is also necessary for self-driving cars to become a reality. Oh, and from 2025, new cars will be required to have V2X features in order to achieve a top NCAP rating.
