Andras Varadi graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Business, and has decade-long experience in the field of vehicle communications. He started his career at Lesswire, where besides the coordination of research projects his main task was to lead prototyping projects based on the ITS related extensions of IPv6.
He joined Commsignia in 2014 as a project manager, and holds the position of Research Director since 2017. He is responsible for the planning and management of the company’s research and standardization activities, and also represents Commsignia at multiple organizations. He is a Delegated Member at Car2Car Consortium, in 5GAA, also holds a position in the ISO TC204 and CEN 278 standardization workgroups. He is member of the board in ITS Hungary, and part of the the ETSI STF 558 standardization working group.
