New VP Botond Ruga brings in 20 years of international experience.

Botond Ruga joins Commsignia on the 6th of February: he arrives to the company from Tungsram Group and previously GE Lighting, global electronics manufacturers, where most recently he worked as Sales Leader responsible for Southern, Central and Eastern Europe regions. He was overseeing the work of a team covering 30 countries, leading business development and commercial activities in both project and distribution sales channels.

Previously, he held various customer service, business development and sales leadership positions throughout his tenure spanning two decades at GE. He gained valuable experience in process improvement, business development and project management on a global scale. Botond holds an executive MBA obtained at Central European University.

In his new role at Commsignia, he will be responsible for scaling up and further growing the smart city business unit. He will oversee all levels of customer engagements in all Commsignia projects from business development, sales and account management perspectives to maintain Commsignia’s position as a global market leader in V2X. He will also take over all smart city business development and account management activities and forecasting.
