Commsignia is a leading software and hardware provider on the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communication market, with a mission to increase traffic safety and efficiency on the road. As a PMO Director, you will have the opportunity to bring your ideas in and join us in the organization and process development. Your key responsibility will be the portfolio management of all our business lines. In this challenging role, you’ll have the room to grow personally and professionally with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Management and oversight of the complete Commsignia project portfolio
- Overall responsibility for managing and building the Project Management team
- Improve the Commsignia project management framework and methodology, including processes, documentation, tooling and reporting system
- Ensure Commsignia projects are completed in good quality, successfully within time and budget
- Reporting on the project portfolio in a transparent and consistent manner
- Serve as the immediate escalation point on customer project delivery-related issues
- Provide supervision and act as a mentor for the project managers
- Organize and maintain effective team and stakeholder communication
Requirements:
- 10+ years of project management experience, including software development and implementation projects. Project Portfolio Management / Project Office Management experience is a strong advantage
- PMP certification or equivalent. PgMP or PfMP is an advantage
- Automotive/industrial/sw delivery/medical or transportation project management as well as portfolio management experiences are required
- Degree in Computer Science or (Software) Engineering or Business
- Experience with Scrum & Agile methodologies
- Strong leadership skills, great ability in team management, capability to motivate and influence others
- Top-down thinking and the ability to think in a structured, concept-based manner
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, concepts and practices
- Outstanding communications skills in Hungarian and English, both verbal and written
- Quality-oriented, agile personality who is not afraid of taking ownership and responsibility
- Ability and openness to work and succeed with diverse cultural environments
- Great planning and execution skills
- Ability to prioritize under pressure and handle heavy workload when necessary
- Willingness to travel occasionally
